Designed for the covert detection of unauthorised smoking in areas subject to suspended or low ceiling types. Typical applications include Aircraft toilets and schools where covert monitoring may be a requirement. The module is designed for single applications, and will detect tobacco smoke in an area not exceeding 3m x 3m x 3m. When installed a s part of a Cig-Arrête Tobacco Control System, the RESGA can be combined with Flame Detection Slave units (CSA-REFUV) to provide complete smoke/ flame coverage.

The CSA-RESGA is installed into a suspended ceiling tile or other false ceiling by cutting a 110mm / 4 ¼I inch Ø hole in the ceiling tile or lining. The product provides a flush fit to the ceiling via the springs which exert a force to clamp the product to ceilings of various thickness (1mm—10mm).
